Sarma pulls up the Delhi CM saying why not you wish to visit Assam when the state was in trouble.

Taking a tweet, he said that “Today you are expressing your desire to come to Assam @ArvindKejriwal. I am sad and sorry that such a desire of yours does not wake up when the people of our Assam are facing a horrific natural calamity like floods! And yes, your deputy Chief minister @msisodia an invitation has already been sent to Ji from Assam.”

Earlier in the morning, Sarma said that Kejriwal came to power in Delhi by promising to transform the national capital into London but has now started comparing the city with “small towns of Assam and Northeast”.

He further stated that BJP will make a city “the most prosperous city in the world” if the party gets the resources like the national capital.

In March 2017, Kejriwal had promised to transform Delhi into London if his party wins the MCD polls, but he had later clarified that he only meant ‘Delhi would be as clean as London’.

Taking to Twitter, the Assam CM stated in Hindi: “You got here to strength with a promise to make Delhi like London and Paris, do not you remember? @ArvindKejriwal Yes? If you couldn’t do anything, then began evaluating Delhi with the smaller towns of Assam and Northeast! Believe me, if BJP receives a town and sources like Delhi, then the party will make it the maximum wealthy town withinside the world.”
