Gangtok, April 01: In a courageous act of valor, troops from the Trishakti Corps conducted a daring rescue mission, saving five stranded tourists in East Sikkim amidst heavy snowfall.

Responding swiftly to the distress call amid harsh weather, soldiers braved the conditions to reach the accident site near Kupup where a vehicle had overturned.

Despite the challenging circumstances, the soldiers managed to evacuate the injured tourists to safety at a nearby Army Post, where they received urgent medical attention.
