Mangalore, Dec 09: Mohammed Aashiq, the owner of a juice stall in Mangalore, emerged victorious in the latest season of the popular Indian cooking show MasterChef.

After eight weeks of intense challenges, the 24-year-old contestant, mentored by Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, and Pooja Dhingra, claimed the coveted title. Along with the MasterChef trophy, Aashiq also secured a stylish coat and a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh.

Judge Ranveer Brar took to social media to extend his congratulations to Mohammed Aashiq, acknowledging his inspirational journey and unwavering determination throughout the competition. Brar’s message expressed admiration for Aashiq’s continuous pursuit of culinary excellence.

The grand finale showcased a fierce battle among finalists Aashiq, Rukhsaar Sayeed, Nambie Jessica, and Suraj Thapa. Hailing from Mangalore, Karnataka, Aashiq is the proud owner of Kulukki Hub, a juice shop in his village. Beyond being a juice stall entrepreneur, Aashiq’s passion for cooking and his distinct culinary skills not only earned him the MasterChef title but also played a significant role in supporting his family.
