New Delhi, March 25: Amidst the vibrant hues of Holi, BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district expressed her gratitude to BJP leaders JP Nadda, Anurag Thakur, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the opportunity to serve her ‘janmabhoomi’.

“This is my land, and it has called me back. If they choose me, I will serve them,” she stated, overwhelmed with emotion on this significant day for her family and herself.

Embracing the BJP’s cooperative culture, she pledged to walk alongside her fellow party members and lead a successful campaign.

A heartwarming video captured Kangana Ranaut’s festive spirit as she applied tilak on the foreheads of local BJP leaders, marking the occasion of Holi.

Later, she joined them in chanting the sacred slogan, ‘Jai Shri Ram’, symbolizing unity and devotion.

The BJP’s fifth list of 111 Lok Sabha poll candidates included prominent personalities like Kangana Ranaut and Arun Govil. Arun Govil, renowned for his portrayal of Lord Ram in the iconic TV series Ramayan, has been nominated by the Meerut constituency.

In a strategic move, the BJP omitted nearly 37 incumbent MPs from the latest candidate list, including notable figures like union ministers Ashwini Kumar Choubey and V K Singh, along with MP Varun Gandhi.

This decision underlines the party’s commitment to fostering fresh talent and rejuvenating its leadership cadre.

Several leaders who recently joined the BJP from other political parties have been rewarded with tickets, reflecting the party’s inclusive approach and recognition of merit.

Kerala BJP president K Surendra will contest from Wayanad, where he will face incumbent MP Rahul Gandhi, former Congress president, in a noteworthy electoral battle.

Expressing his gratitude to PM Modi for the BJP ticket, Naveen Jindal emphasized his commitment to the party’s vision of ‘Vikasit Bharat’. He heralded this new chapter in his political journey as a ‘second innings’, attributing the decline of the Congress party to its negative approach.

“I believe in positive change,” he affirmed, echoing the BJP’s transformative agenda for the nation.

As the Lok Sabha elections draw nearer, the BJP’s candidate roster reflects a diverse mix of experience, talent, and dedication, poised to lead the party towards victory with renewed vigor and determination.
