Ayodhya, Jan 11: Veteran BJP leader LK Advani has confirmed his attendance at the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, according to a Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader.

LK Advani, 96, played a crucial role in spearheading the Ram Janambhoomi movement, making his presence at the Ram Mandir ‘Pran Partistha’ ceremony significant.

In December, the VHP extended invitations to BJP veterans LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi to attend the Ram Temple inaugural in Ayodhya. Initially, the temple trust suggested that due to health reasons, LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi, 89, might not be able to attend the ceremony.

Addressing the issue of Advani’s attendance in Ayodhya, the International Working President of the VHP, Alok Kumar, assured that all necessary arrangements and medical facilities would be provided for LK Advani.

The inauguration of the Ram Mandir is scheduled for January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders present.

The guest list includes thousands of seers from various parts of the country, as well as families of the laborers who contributed to the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

In preparation for the grand event, the temple town will host ceremonies over seven days starting from January 16, with the final touches expected to be completed by January 15
