In tandem with the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar has also prolonged the session by one day.

This development arises amidst speculation surrounding the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government potentially presenting a ‘white paper’ on the economy, harking back to the previous Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government.
