The earthquake, centered at a latitude of 25.92 and a longitude of 91.03, occurred at a depth of 25 kilometers below the Earth’s surface.

The National Center for Seismology (NCS) promptly reported this earthquake via its official Twitter account. In their tweet, NCS provided the following details: “Earthquake of Magnitude: 3.3, Occurred on 20-09-2023, 00:44:03 IST, Lat: 25.92 & Long: 91.03, Depth: 25 Km, Region: Goalpara, Assam.”
