Jorhat, March 18: An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale jolted in the Jorhat district of Assam early on Saturday. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the tremors were felt at 9 am, at 50 km depth in the Jorhat district.

There were no reports of any damage to property, or loss of lives due to the earthquake.
