Guwahati, Jan 07: Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh held discussions with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma during their meeting in Guwahati on January 6.

The leaders engaged in talks covering various aspects related to the security and development of the Northeast region. Additionally, they focused on matters concerning the well-being of Manipuris residing in Assam.

The official meeting took place at Himanta Biswa Sarma’s residence in Guwahati, where both Chief Ministers exchanged views on key issues impacting the neighboring states.

N. Biren Singh expressed his pleasure about the meeting on his Twitter account, stating, “It was a pleasure meeting with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, Shri @himantabiswa Ji, at his official residence in Guwahati today. Discussed various matters concerning the security and development of the North East region. The measures for the welfare of the Manipuris living in Assam were also deliberated.”
