Imphal, Aug 23: Heavy rainfall over the past week has caused severe flooding in Manipur’s Thoubal District.
A relief camp has been set up to assist affected residents, particularly in Khangabok Village, which has experienced its third flood this year. The nearby river remains dangerously high.
Many farmlands are submerged, and around 15 houses have been displaced. Villagers are awaiting timely support as conditions worsen.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast more heavy rain in the coming days. Residents are advised to:
