Imphal, Nov 11: At least 11 armed militants and one CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) personnel were killed in a fierce clash at Jakuradhor Karong in Borobekra Subdivision, Jiribam district, this afternoon.
The violent confrontation took place between security forces and militants operating in the region.
The CRPF, in coordination with other security agencies, had been conducting operations in response to reports of militant activity in the area. The encounter resulted in intense gunfire, which led to multiple casualties.
