Shillong, April 23: The Meghalaya BJP Mahila Morcha has strongly condemned the heinous gang rape of two tribal minor girls in South West Garo Hills on April 17, 2024.
Taking a proactive approach, the organization is urging the Meghalaya High Court to take suo moto action against the perpetrators. Alongside this call for action, they are also requesting the court to demand a detailed report from the local Police Department regarding the incident.
In a formal letter addressed to the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court, the state unit of the BJP Mahila Morcha expressed deep concern over the tragic incident.
