Kolkata, March 24: Navjot Singh Sidhu, marking his return to IPL commentary after nearly a decade, showered praise on Shah Rukh Khan following Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on March 23.

Sidhu lauded SRK’s demeanor, citing an anecdote shared by Abhishek Bachchan, who described the Bollywood icon as the most self-assured individual in the film industry.

Sidhu’s commentary, wherein he extolled Shah Rukh Khan’s character, has since gone viral. In the clip, Sidhu can be heard discussing SRK from the commentary box as the actor stepped onto the field to greet his fans.

Recounting a conversation with SRK during the actor’s early days, Sidhu revealed that SRK once expressed his philosophy of competing solely with himself, a sentiment that resonated with Sidhu and foreshadowed SRK’s enduring success.
