Dwarka, Feb 25: Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a unique spiritual journey on Sunday by offering prayers at the Dwarkadhish Temple in Gujarat’s Dwarka, diving deep into the water for a divine experience.

Describing the experience as profoundly spiritual, PM Modi expressed his sense of connection to an ancient era of spiritual magnificence.

In a post on X, Prime Minister Modi shared his reflections on the experience, highlighting the deep spiritual significance of praying in the submerged city of Dwarka, believed to have been ruled by Lord Krishna.

Dwarka, a legendary city mentioned in Hindu scriptures, holds immense historical and religious importance, with its submersion in the sea symbolizing the passage of time and the ephemerality of earthly existence.

Accompanied by pictures of himself underwater, adorned in scuba gear, PM Modi unveiled the mystique of the “lost city” of Lord Krishna as he delved into its underwater remains.

Reflecting on his underwater journey, PM Modi emphasized the emotional depth of the experience, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to fulfill a decades-old dream.

He recounted moments of profound reverence as he offered his respects to Dwarkadhish, placing a peacock feather at Lord Krishna’s feet.
