Dharamshala, June 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a road show in Himachal Pradesh’s Dharamshala on Thursday.

During the roadshow, various cultural groups wearing traditional outfits welcomed the prime minister on the way.

The prime minister is on a two-day visit to the poll-bound state. PM Modi is scheduled to chair the first National Conference of Chief Secretaries in Dharamshala.

He will leave for Delhi on Friday evening.

Earlier on Wednesday, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur took stock of the preparations for PM Modi’s visit.

In Dharamshala, Thakur presided over a review meeting at the deputy commissioner’s office. He also reviewed preparations for a road show.

He also visited the All-India Conference of Chief Secretaries venue, which the prime minister is set to address during his visit.
