Guwahati, April 05: Assam Tourism Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah has announced Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Assam on April 17.

During his visit, PM Modi will address a rally in Nalbari as part of the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Additionally, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also slated to visit Assam on April 7 and 8, during which he will address three rallies.

Minister Mallabaruah assured that the schedule for both leaders is finalized and unlikely to change. The state party unit is fully prepared for the elections, aiming to secure a third consecutive term for PM Modi.

Assam aims to contribute at least 13 Lok Sabha seats to Modi’s election campaign. The polling for the 14 seats in Assam will occur in three phases April 19, April 26, and May 7.
