Imphal, Aug 22: The combined security forces operating in Manipur successfully recovered seven stolen firearms and 81 rounds of various types of ammunition from multiple districts in the state. These arms and ammunition had been looted from various police stations during the ethnic clashes that erupted in Manipur on May 3.

The recovery of these looted weapons and ammunition represents a substantial step toward restoring law and order in the region, which has been marred by violence and unrest in recent months.

Notably, six individuals have been arrested in connection with this arson incident.
