New Delhi, Jan 03: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his admiration for the devotional song ‘Ram Aayenge’ sung by Bhojpuri singer Swati Mishra in anticipation of the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya’s Ram Janmbhoomi temple on January 22.

The Prime Minister shared the video of the bhajan on his X platform, praising Swati Mishra’s mesmerizing rendition.

The devotional song ‘Ram Aayenge’ was released by Swati Mishra on her YouTube channel in October 2023 and has gained over 43 million views.

Prime Minister Modi, who is scheduled to attend the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, will perform the rituals in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Temple during the pran-pratishtha ceremony at around 12:15 pm on January 22.

Expressing his feelings about the historic occasion, PM Modi wrote on X, “I feel very blessed. It is my good fortune that in my lifetime, I will witness this historic occasion.”

The idol of Ram Lalla for the consecration ceremony has been finalized, and it was carved by Karnataka’s renowned sculptor Arun Yogiraj.

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi shared the news on X, stating, “The selection of the idol for the Prana Pratishtapana of Lord Rama in Ayodhya has been finalized. The idol of Lord Rama, carved by renowned sculptor of our country Yogiraj Arun, will be installed in Ayodhya.”

In the consecration ceremony, the idol of Ram Lalla will be placed in the sanctum-sanctorum (garbha griha) of the newly built Ram temple and will be opened for devotees. Over 7,000 guests, including 3,000 VVIPs, priests, donors, and politicians, have received invitation cards for the ceremony.

Additionally, tent cities are being developed in Ayodhya to accommodate thousands of devotees expected to arrive for the pran-pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla.

The foundation stone of the Ram temple in Ayodhya was laid by PM Modi on August 5, 2020. The consecration ceremony is a momentous event for millions of devotees eagerly awaiting the completion of the Ram Janmbhoomi temple.
