Guwahati, Jan 08: Properties worth several lakh of rupees were gutted in a massive fire that broke out at the Geetanagar area in Guwahati on Friday evening.
The fire reportedly broke out at a furniture shop named ‘Woodbox’ in the Geetanagar area.
The fire tenders immediately rushed to the spot and managed to control the situation.

There is no report of any human casualty in the fire incident. It is suspected that the fire broke out due to a short circuit.
