Ayodhya, Jan 20: Multiplex giants PVR Inox have joined forces with news channel Aaj Tak to bring the live broadcast of the historic Ram Mandir consecration ceremony to cinema halls across India.

The ceremony, also known as ‘pran pratistha’, will take place from 11 am to 3 pm. PVR Inox will stream the event live in over 160 cinema halls across 70 states, offering the public a unique opportunity to witness this momentous occasion.

Tickets, priced at an affordable Rs 100, can be booked through the PVR Inox app or website, and this cost includes a beverage and popcorn combination.

Gautam Dutta, Co-CEO of PVR INOX Ltd, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Grand and historic occasions like this have to be experienced wonderfully. The consecration ceremony involves the installation of the idol of Ram Lala, the infant version of Lord Ram, in the Ram Mandir.

With over 11,000 attendees expected from around the world, the event will feature prominent figures from various fields, including Rajinikanth, Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mohanlal, and Dhanush.

Additionally, Arun Govil and Deepika Chikhlia, who portrayed Lord Ram and Mata Sita in the 1987 TV series ‘Ramayan,’ will also attend the ceremony.
