Jodhpur, April 15: A man allegedly raped and bit off the nose of his 15-year-old daughter in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The accused did not stop here, he allegedly physically assaulted the teenager. Tired of the repeated abuse, the teenager approached the cops and lodged a complaint.
A police official privy to the case, Parmeshwari said that the girl lodged a complaint against her 45-year-old father for allegedly biting off her nose and thrashing her.
The daughter later narrated her ordeal to an activist and alleged that she was repeatedly raped by her father. The girl spoke to the activist when she was hospitalized on April 6. Reportedly, the girl’s parents are separated and she lives with her father, uncle, aunt, and grandparents in Luni, Hindustan Times reported.
Parmeshwari said, “Two years ago, her father raped her when she was 13…” The girl alleged that she was raped multiple times and narrated her ordeal to her grandmother. The girl’s grandfather shifted her to rented accommodation in a nearby locality a few months ago.

After learning the girl’s ordeal, the activist filed a complaint against her father on April 8. The accused was booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Parmeshwari said that they recorded the teenager’s statement. She said that statements of the teenager’s grandparents will also be recorded soon.
