Mumbai, Dec 07: Ranbir Kapoor’s latest cinematic venture, ‘Animal,’ continues its triumphant run at the global box office, surpassing the remarkable milestone of Rs 500 crore worldwide on December 6.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film, which was also released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on December 1, is proving to be an unstoppable force, consistently shattering records and maintaining its dominance during weekdays.

Box Office Success: ‘Animal’ was one of the most highly anticipated films of 2023. Despite facing a box office clash with Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sam Bahadur,’ the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer emerged as the clear winner. On December 6, the film achieved a substantial milestone by crossing the Rs 300-crore mark in India, contributing to its global success.

The film’s impressive box office performance continued on its sixth day, with early estimates indicating a collection of Rs 30 crore in India on December 6. Consequently, the total box office collection for ‘Animal’ now stands at a commendable Rs 312.96 crore. The film’s popularity is further evident in its 31.77% Hindi occupancy rate on December 6.

Plot and Cast: Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, ‘Animal’ explores the compelling narrative of a father-son relationship, delving into the complexities of familial bonds. The plot revolves around Ranbir Kapoor’s character, Rannvijay, described as a ruthless and ambitious individual willing to go to any lengths to achieve his objectives.

When Rannvijay learns about an assassination attempt on his father Balbir Singh, the story takes a dramatic turn as he sets out on a journey for revenge.
