Guwahati, March 11: Renowned Assamese music composer Nanda Banerjee has passed away at the age of 68 after battling heart problems for an extended period.

The artist, known for his soulful renditions, reportedly fell unconscious in his bathroom and was rushed to a private hospital, where he breathed his last.

Nanda Banerjee leaves behind his wife, Santana Banerjee, and their son Shyam.
