Gangtok, April 26: Sikkim’s Chief Minister, Prem Singh Tamang, reaffirmed India’s territorial integrity while embarking on a religious trip to Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.

Speaking to the media upon his arrival, CM Tamang emphasized the purpose of his journey, stating, “This is a religious visit. I am here for the ‘darshan’ of His Holiness the Dalai Lama,” during his visit to Kangra.

Asserting Sikkim’s status as an integral part of India, CM Tamang addressed China’s claims, stating, “Sikkim is an integral part of India. They (China) can claim whatever they want. We are a part of the vast country of India. If they (China) make false claims, so what? There is no truth in it…”
