Gangtok, Jan 11: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, during the ongoing Janta Bhetghat Program in the Zoom Salghari and Soreng–Chakung Assembly constituency, emphasized the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) party’s commitment to addressing healthcare and employment concerns in Sikkim.

Chief Minister Tamang announced the SKM party’s plans to distribute appointment letters on a district-wise basis, aiming to provide opportunities for citizens across the region. He underlined the party’s consistent support for residents, especially those facing challenges in health and employment.

The Janta Bhetghat Program, initiated in the Soreng–Chakung Assembly constituency, spans January 10 and 11.

Chief Minister Tamang expressed his commitment to spending additional time connecting with the public, extending the program to January 12.

During these interactions, the government engages with gram panchayats, municipalities, and wards to address the issues residents face.

The focus has been on healthcare concerns, particularly those unable to travel to Gangtok for treatment due to geographical constraints.

Chief Minister Tamang emphasized bringing entire medical teams to these regions to address health problems.

For more complex cases requiring referrals to Gangtok or other states, the government facilitates the process and provides financial support.

Regarding the employment sector, Chief Minister Tamang highlighted the government’s efforts in scrutinizing documents and processing appointment orders for deserving candidates. These appointment orders will be distributed systematically, covering all constituencies and districts.

The Janta Bhetghat Program aims to provide a platform for citizens to voice their grievances and present their issues directly to the government.

Chief Minister Tamang assured the public that the government is dedicated to resolving concerns related to healthcare and employment, ensuring inclusive development across Sikkim.
