SRK's son Aryan Khan being questioned in Mumbai cruise drugs case

Mumbai, Oct 3: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is questioning Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in the Mumbai drug bust case on Cordelia Cruises’ Empress ship. Sources said suspects detained in the case would be arrested after the recording of their statement, sources said.

NCB is questioning Aryan Khan in connection with the rave party that was busted on Saturday night after officials raided a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. Aryan Khan has not been booked on any charges and has not been arrested so far, said Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of NCB.

Besides Aryan Khan, his close friend Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, and Gomit Chopra are also being questioned.

The NCB has also summoned six of the organizers who had planned the cruise party. Kashiff Khan, managing director of FTV India, is also under scanner and NCB has reached out to him. The event was organized under the supervision of Kashiff Khan.

According to the source, Aryan Khan’s phone has been seized and is being scanned by the authorities to check for any indication of his involvement in the possession or consumption of drugs. The narcotics bureau is investigating the chats received on the phones that have been seized from the drug bust.

Dubbed as a ‘musician voyage’, about 100 tickets were sold for the party. Other passes were distributed by the event organizers. The event was organized by Fashion TV India and a company from Delhi named Namascray Experience. The price of a single ticket to the event is estimated to be ₹80,000. The ship was bound to Goa from Mumbai.
