Itanagar, March 30: 10 MLAs from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), including the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, have secured victory unopposed in the ongoing Arunachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Elections 2024.

This development underscores the BJP’s dominance in the state’s political landscape, marking a notable milestone in the electoral process.

The news of these unopposed victories was met with jubilation, with Assam’s Cabinet Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs and Irrigation Ashok Singhal taking to Twitter to express delight. In a tweet, the minister exclaimed, “The Lotus blooms in Arunachal Pradesh!” The Lotus symbolizes the BJP party.

The tweet highlighted the success of 10 BJP MLAs, including key figures such as the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, who emerged victorious without facing any opposition.
