Maharashtra, Nov 16: A bizarre video of a robbery has come up from Thane city of Maharashtra wherein a thief stole a cash box from a temple. The incident came to light after the CCTV footage has gone viral on social media.

In the video, the thief can be seen clicking pictures of Lord Hanuman and waiting for other devotees to leave the temple premises. As he found the temple empty, he immediately picked the cash box.
When the police looked at the CCTV footage, they were surprised to see that the thief touched the feet of Lord Hanuman’s idol before leaving with the donation box.
Reportedly, the accused allegedly stole the cash box containing about Rs 1,000. In the CCTV footage, the thief can be seen praying and touching the feet of God’s idol before stealing the donation box.
