Three eminent personalities join TMC

Bengal, Feb 3: The All-India Trinamool Congress (TMC) has announced that three eminent personalities Jyoti Prakash Chatterjee, a lawyer with more than 17 years of experience in Civil & Criminal before Appellate side of Calcutta, Srijan Roy, Bother-in-law of BJP leader Mukul Roy and Nilanjana Mazumder, actress and model in the Tollywood Film Industry join the party in the presence of Bratya Basu, Minister, GoWB at Trinamool Bhavan today.


Jyoti Prakash Chatterjee: Lawyer with more than 17 years of experience in Civil & Criminal before Appellate side of Calcutta has represented TMC MPs and MLAs in High Court and nw join the party. He said,” BJP wants to divide Bengal and our battle are against the Jungle Raj.”


Sijal Ray: Brother-in-law of Mukul Roy, played a very active role in the 2011 assembly election and 2014 Loksabha and 2016 Assembly election for AITC and joined BJP in 2019. He said,” Under the guidance of Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee we will be able to achieve secularism in Bengal. Other party leaders can choose whatever party they want. I am choosing AITC.”


Nilanjana Mazumder: Actress and model in the Tollywood Film Industry for the last 10 years. She is also a social worker and an active AITC supporter for the last 9 years. She said,” It is an honor for me to work under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.”
