Guwahati, June 08: In a horrifying incident that took place early in the morning, a schoolgirl lost her life after being hit by a school bus in Guwahati, Assam. The accident occurred near the Ganeshguri area, sending shockwaves through the local community. The victim has been identified as Priya Kumari, a Class-11 student from Little Flower School.
The unfortunate incident unfolded when Priya was riding as a pillion passenger with her father on their scooty. A school bus belonging to Royal Global University collided with their vehicle, resulting in the tragic death of the young girl. Priya’s father sustained injuries in the accident and was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
Adding to the distressing nature of the incident, the bus driver, whose vehicle was registered as AS-01-PC-7411, fled the scene immediately after the collision. Eyewitnesses reported that the driver did not stop the bus and instead absconded from the spot, leaving the victims behind.
