Itanagar, Nov 18: Four individuals from Assam, residents of Gossaigaon, tragically lost their lives in a devastating landslide in Arunachal Pradesh. The fatal incident occurred on National Highway No 13, where the car they were traveling in was struck by massive rocks dislodged by the landslide, resulting in their immediate demise.

The victims, identified as Christopher Hemram, Abhijit Hemram, Nirmal Hemram, and Lakshminath Kisku, had ventured to Arunachal Pradesh to participate in a Christian religious healing ceremony. Unfortunately, the exact location of the landslide remains undisclosed at present.

The deceased individuals hailed from the Gossaigaon subdivision in Assam’s Kokrajhar district. Their mortal remains are expected to be transported back to Gossaigaon by the following day.
