Gangtok, March 19: Two separate wildfire incidents have occurred near Gangtok, Sikkim, stirring emergency responses from firefighting teams.

The first blaze erupted in the Shyari area, specifically at Lower Syari, prompting immediate action from the Quick Response Team (QRT) based in Gangtok (T) Range, with support from the Sikkim Police.

In another alarming incident, a fire broke out in the nearby Namnang area, further intensifying the firefighting efforts near the capital city.
