Kohli’s feat added another chapter to his illustrious career, amassing 13,705* runs, inching past Ponting’s 13,704 runs.
The all-time highest run-scorer in ODI cricket remains Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar, who amassed 18,426 runs, followed by Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara with 14,234 runs. Kohli’s consistent performances have solidified his place among the cricketing greats.
