Weather Update, Sep 04: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in remote locations, very in all likelihood over Uttarakhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh, at the same time as heavy rain is anticipated at remoted locations in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan & Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, and Assam.

Thunderstorm followed through lightening anticipated at remote locations, very in all likelihood over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan & Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, East Uttar Pradesh, South-East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Bihar.

Squally winds of 45-55kmph gusting to 65kmph in all likelihood over Southwest and adjacent West-Central Arabian sea, alongside and off-Somalia Coast, South of Comorin area, Southwest Bay of Bengal, off South Sri Lanka coast. Fishermen are cautioned now no longer to mission into those seas.
