Weather Update, April 04: According to weather update, a cyclonic circulation located over Northeastern India along with southwesterly winds will bring humidity over the region in this period.

Fairly widespread to widespread rain with isolated heavy rain and thunderstorms are likely over north Northeast India in this period.

Heavy to extremely heavy rain will clash over isolated places of Assam and Meghalaya on Monday, while heavy rain is expected to drench isolated places of these two states on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Arunachal Pradesh will face the brunt of heavy to very heavy rain over isolated places on Monday.

One-day precipitation accumulation of 80 mm to 120 mm is possible over isolated places of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya on Monday. Neighbouring Sikkim will also witness heavy rain over isolated places of Sikkim on Monday.
