Guwahati, July 10: A youth drowned after a country-made boat capsized in the Brahmaputra river in Assam’s Nalbari district and the SDRF team had recovered the body of the missing youth on Friday evening.
The incident took place at the Mukalmua Bortol area in the Nalbari district on Thursday evening.
According to the reports, the youth was missing after the country made a boat capsized in the river.
Three others who were also in the boat had managed to swim ashore.
Following the incident, the SDRF team, police and locals were engaged in a search operation and the SDRF team had later recovered the body of the missing youth.
