Aizawl, Nov 07: Zoramthanga, the Chief Minister of Mizoram and the president of the Mizo National Front (MNF), radiates confidence that his party will continue to lead the state in the 2023 assembly elections.

“Judging by today’s political atmosphere on voting day, I am confident that the MNF will maintain power in Mizoram,” expressed Zoramthanga.

He went on to say, “The MNF should comfortably form the government in Mizoram.”

Zoramthanga dismissed the possibility of the MNF needing to form a coalition with another party to establish the government.

“To form a government, we need 21 seats. We hope to secure more, possibly 25 or more. I believe we will have a comfortable majority,” he stated.
