During its weekly meeting on November 7, the Assam Cabinet made several decisions to enhance the well-being of its citizens and boost various sectors within the state. These decisions include improved benefits for state government employees, land allocation for indigenous landless families, healthcare initiatives, and financial restructuring for public enterprises.
One of the notable moves taken by the Assam Cabinet is aimed at addressing the health and nutrition of school children in Char and Chapori areas. The Cabinet approved the provision of three eggs per week in the Midday Meal scheme, starting from December 1, 2023.
