Aizawl, Feb 07: Vigilant troops of Assam Rifles conducted a successful operation in Mizoram’s Lawngtlai district, seizing a significant cache of explosives and detonators along the Sangau Pankhua road.
Acting on precise intelligence, Assam Rifles set up a Mobile Vehicle Check Post and intercepted a Bolero vehicle occupied by two individuals.
Subsequently, they confiscated 150 kilograms of explosives, 1800 detonators, and over 3 kilometers of cordtex.

The detained individuals and the seized items have been handed over to the police for further investigation and legal proceedings.
