Lucknow, Feb 19: Amid ongoing negotiations, Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav remains undecided about joining Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi and Raebareli.

Akhilesh Yadav stated that the SP would refrain from participating in Rahul Gandhi’s yatra until seat-sharing arrangements with the Congress are finalized.

“While discussions are in progress and lists are being exchanged, the Samajwadi Party will only join the Congress’ Nyay Yatra once seat allocation is concluded,” Akhilesh Yadav remarked.

According to party sources, disagreements over specific constituencies have led to delays in sealing the alliance, despite earlier agreements on the number and allocation of seats.

Although negotiations involving Akhilesh Yadav, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and Mallikarjun Kharge have occurred, a definitive agreement on seat distribution remains elusive.
