Shah had plans to conduct election rallies in Hojai, Lakhimpur, and Gohpur as the Lok Sabha elections approached, intensifying political activities nationwide.

Meanwhile, Assam Tourism Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah disclosed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Assam on April 17.
