Itanagar, Oct 29: Arunachal Pradesh Governor KT Parnaik recently visited the military troops stationed in the West Kameng district as part of the extended Infantry Day celebration. His visit included meeting with the officers and troops of the Rajputana Rifles who are currently undergoing high-altitude training at a challenging elevation of 14,000 feet near the Sela Pass.

During his interaction with the troops, Governor Parnaik emphasized the importance of their combat training and readiness for any situation along the high-altitude international border. He encouraged them to maintain peak mental and physical fitness, crucial for operations in such demanding environments.

Governor Parnaik also reminded the officers and troops of the proud traditions of the Indian Army and urged them to fulfil their duties and responsibilities wholeheartedly. He praised the soldiers as the true heroes of the nation, highlighting that the people of India, especially the Arunachalis, deeply respect and honor them for their unwavering dedication to upholding the nation’s pride.
