Arunachal: Mikong MLA Inaugurates Smart Classroom In Government School

Arunachal, Nov 10: Ninong Ering, an MLA from Mikong, inaugurated a smart classroom on Tuesday to improve the teaching and learning process for students at Government Upper Primary School.

Mikong MLA Ering appreciated the efforts of the School Monitoring Committee (SMC), saying the committee had successfully incorporated innovative teaching and learning methods into the existing school system. Volunteer contributions from teachers, members of the SMC, and school staff were greatly appreciated, he said.

Ering also mentioned that a smart classroom provides a completely digital learning environment at a developmental meeting organized by the school authority. When teachers explain complex issues to students, this makes their job much easier.

A similar initiative would provide students with an invaluable opportunity to gain exposure to digital learning as well as maximize their potential in an era of rapid digitalization. A modern classroom requires access to the internet, multimedia, and other modern technology.

An initiative such as this, he says, would boost the morale of students, allowing schools to resume classes after lockdowns and online courses. To gain more knowledge and generate ideas, he recommended exhibiting periodically videos recorded using multiple scientific models on a digital platform outside the limits of established syllabuses.

According to the MLA, road connectivity, education, and health services are his priorities, and his accomplishments include various current and upcoming development projects. Dr Kinny Singh, Deputy Commissioner of the SMC, went on to officially inaugurate its library in the past to inculcate the habit of reading among students.
