Itanagar, Feb 29: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu recently held a productive meeting with members of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), including Prof. Pradip Lingfa, the Commission’s Chairman, Ms. Rosy Taba, and Col (Retd) Koj Tari.

The meeting, which took place on February 29, aimed to reinforce the importance of transparent recruitment processes within the state.

Chief Minister Khandu expressed his satisfaction with the composition of the APPSC membership and emphasized the need to strengthen the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to ensure transparency in recruitment.

With over 1200 Group A and B positions vacant within the Arunachal Pradesh government, there is a pressing need for expeditious recruitment procedures to fill these vacancies.

Regarding the microblogging platform X, Chief Minister Khandu shared his thoughts on the meeting, stating, “I am happy with the constitution of APPSC membership. I emphasized the need for strengthening the Standard Operating Procedure for a transparent recruitment process.”

During the meeting, Chief Minister Khandu underscored the urgency of initiating the recruitment process promptly. He urged the Commission members to uphold the integrity of the institution and maintain fairness and impartiality in the selection procedures.

Building and maintaining the trust of aspiring candidates is crucial, and the Chief Minister stressed the importance of ensuring that the recruitment process is conducted with integrity.
