INDIA alliance

Guwahati, Oct 14: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, on October 14, made strong remarks against the INDIA alliance, stating that their actions amount to committing sins, and the people of the country will respond accordingly.

During his visit to the Narayani Shila temple in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, CM Sarma voiced his concerns about a faction within the alliance seeking to undermine the Sanatan Dharma and its rich heritage. He emphasized the enduring strength of Sanatana and expressed confidence that it would persist for as long as the sun shines.

Reflecting on his visit to the Narayani Shila temple, CM Sarma shared, “I always try to come here at the Narayani Shila Temple every year. Last year I couldn’t make it. But this year, on the tithi of Amavasya, I have come here to seek the blessings of our ancestors. This tradition is an integral part of our Sanatana heritage, and by continuing this practice, we seek blessings from the divine. This year, too, I visited the temple and performed ‘shraad’ in honor of our ancestors and forefathers, leaving me with a sense of peace.”

Asserting the resilience of Sanatana, CM Sarma said, “There are some people who want Sanatan Dharma and its legacy to come to an end in the country. However, our nation is strong, and similarly, Sanatana is robust; it will endure as long as the sun exists. The members of the INDIA alliance are involved in sinful acts. In due course, the people of India will respond fittingly.”

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s remarks shed light on his commitment to preserving the cultural and spiritual heritage of India, and his belief that the people of the country will protect and uphold these values against any perceived threats.
