Itanagar, June 29: In a significant development in the ongoing fight against drug abuse, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu took to Twitter to announce another success in combating the drug menace in the state.

He praised the efforts of the Arunachal Pradesh Police and the Directorate of General of Assam Rifles (DGAR) for their joint operation that resulted in the seizure of 197.6 grams of brown sugar and the apprehension of three drug peddlers in Zedua village, located in the Longding district of the state.

Sharing the news with his followers on Twitter, Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed his satisfaction with the outcome of the operation. He wrote, “Another success in the drive to check the drug menace in the State. Today, @ArunachalPolice in a joint operation with @official_dgar seized 197.6 grams of brown sugar and apprehended three drug peddlers at Zedua village in Longding district. Good work.”

The tweet of the CM highlights the continuous efforts being made by the state authorities to combat the growing drug problem in Arunachal Pradesh.
