Itanagar, April 08: Gan Suraksha Party (GSP) candidate, Toko Sheetal, has launched an extensive campaign tour across 11 districts in Arunachal West constituency.
Thousands of underprivileged residents in Daporijo town, Upper Subansiri district, are rallying behind Sheetal, known for leading the anti-corruption ‘Delhi chalo’ movement in September 2022.
Sheetal, who filed her nomination in Aalo, West Siang district, aims to unseat current MP Kiren Rijiju in the upcoming elections.

Her candidacy comes after leading prominent activism, including a foot march from Itanagar to New Delhi and staging a protest at Jantar Mantar against corruption in Arunachal politics.
Confident in her victory, Sheetal believes the people of Arunachal stand with her candidacy.
