Itanagar, Aug 14: As a part of Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, 65-feet tall Tiranga is hosted at Anini which is the headquarters of the Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh to mark the 75 years of Independence Day.

Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu, shares the video on Twitter by saying that “My heart is filled with limitless joy as I watch the grandeur & glory of this majestic 65-feet tall Tiranga at Anini, district headquarters of Dibang Valley as part of #HarGharTirangaAbhiyan.”

A mass rally with a 300ft long Tricolor was also organized at Seppa town of East Kameng in Arunachal Pradesh on Friday to mark the 75th Independence Day.

The event was attended by the students, ITBP & police personnel, and DA officials. The rally was organized as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu shared a glimpse of the massive rally on Twitter and quoted that “mazing enthusiasm for #HarGharTiranga campaign! Seppa town in #EastKameng Dist painted in hues of patriotism with 300 feet tricolor on foot march and chants of Vande Mataram.”

Last month, Prime Minister Modi launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga‘ campaign to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence.

The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Ministry of Culture said.

Since the launch of the campaign, the Centre has taken various steps to ensure the supply of flags across India. All Post Offices in the country are selling flags.

In addition, the state governments have also tied up with various stakeholders for the supply and sale of flags. The central government has also tied up with various e-commerce websites and self-help groups to supply the flags.
