Guwahati food

Guwahati, Sept 24: Guwahati witnessed a heated situation recently when a trainee associated with the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) raised concerns about the substandard quality of food served at a hotel located in Ulubari, a locality in the city.

The hotel in question, Kalpa Hotel, found itself in the midst of controversy as allegations of serving low-quality food surfaced, primarily from a pitch curator trainee who was part of a 25-member training team staying at the establishment.

Hotel authorities are currently under scrutiny for allegedly providing subpar meals for several days, with trainees claiming to have paid Rs 900 per meal. In addition to concerns about food quality, allegations of misconduct against a female employee have further escalated the ongoing dispute.
