Weather Update, July 07: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted isolated heavy rainfall in several Northeast Indian states, including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Tripura, until July 10.
Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim are also expected to experience isolated heavy rainfall during this period.
The IMD’s broader alert covers other regions across India, with a particular emphasis on the Northeast due to its vulnerability to heavy rains.

Additionally, similar weather conditions are expected in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, East Rajasthan, and South Interior Karnataka.
